Calling it semi-public rather implies that it’s not a proclamation. Still, it’s only “semi-public” because nobody’s listening. My poor, neglected blog is tatty and unused and so I say this, for anyone stumbling past, for anyone who still checks this, and for my 52 followers on Twitter:
By tomorrow morning, I intend to have a new theme and to be ready to start using this blog again.
I am intending to code something minimalist “from scratch” i.e. borrowing various bits of code from past projects and other themes, rather than just modifying someone else’s theme. Even with coffee and discipline I suspect that this may be rather beyond me, but I do at least intend to try.

It feels good to be writing some HTML again. It’s muchly preferable to

…which seems to have made up a large portion of what I’ve been typing for the last couple of days .
